Yaz Lancaster (they/them) is a Black transdisciplinary artist most interested in relational aesthetics & the everyday; fragments & collage; and liberatory politics. Their work has appeared in Afternoon Visitor, I CARE IF YOU LISTEN, the tiny, and Underblong (where their poem "Ratios" received both the 2021 Blongprize and a Pushcart Nomination). Yaz holds several degrees in violin performance & poetry from NYU. Yaz is an Aquarius stellium, and they live in Harlem with their bassador puppy Nori.
